MOSCOW, Oct 15 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation will amount to 0.4–0.5% in October n the month and 3.5–3.7% on the year, the Economic Development Ministry said in a report on October 12.

In 2018, inflation is estimated at 3.7–3.9% if the ruble remains at the current level. The figure can fall to an earlier estimate of 3.4% if the ruble decreases to an earlier forecasted level in October.

The ministry also said that fixed capital investment growth halted in August. “Under the estimate, the growth of fixed capital investment (as compared with last year) stopped in August, which was seen in the fall of construction works and a significant fall in investment imports.”
